How To Earn Points

Listed below are the Young America’s Foundation activities and events that qualify for the school year. Remember, those who reach 100 points will be eligible for the Reagan Ranch Retreat held in Santa Barbara, California. Also, be sure to check the bonus offers section of the Club 100 members' website to learn about additional ways for you can earn points.

Earning points is simple and points may be earned in any combination. Points are awarded on a per event basis. For example, every Foundation speaking event you organize, you will earn 40 points. Or, you may attend several Foundation conferences.

Campus Lectures

1. Organize a Young America’s Foundation

Bonus! Pre-event article printed in local

Bonus! Raise the entire honorarium from

on-campus sources for a speaker over $5,000: 20

Attendance Bonuses: You can be awarded additional

points for one of the following:

Standing-room-only attendance: 20

Over 1,000 people in attendance: 40

Campus Initiatives

1. 9/11: Never Forget Project

a. Organize an American Flag Memorial 20

b. Schedule a school-wide moment of prayer or silence 20

c. Schedule a memorial service 10

2. Freedom Week 2007, November

a. Your school officially recognizes Freedom Week 20

b. Host a speaker during the week. 20

c. Participate in the Berlin Wall Activity 10

Conferences

1. Attend the National Conservative Student Conference or

The National High School Leadership Conference 30

3. Attend a weekend-long Training Seminar at the

Foundation headquarters in Herndon, Virginia, or in

Santa Barbara, California: 20

4. Attend an educational seminar at the Reagan Ranch Center: 20

(Road to Freedom Seminar, Deconstructing the Left)

5. Attend all of Young America's Foundation’s events at CPAC: 30

(10 points each for the Club 100 Reception, Training Seminar, and

the Thomas Phillips Journalism Student Luncheon.)

Reward Levels

As you participate in Club 100 programs, the points you earn will allow you to receive many rewards such as unique Foundation merchandise and signed books. Below are the reward levels.

Level One – 40 points

You have made your first step towards strengthening the conservative movement at your school.

Level Two – 80 points

Your chance to earn a trip to the Reagan Ranch Retreat is only twenty points away!

Level Three – 100 points and beyond

Congratulations! You are one of the top conservative activists in nation. Don’t stop now – those with the highest point total overall will compete to win a one of a kind experience.

“Club 100 – Where Activism Counts” is a program of Young America’s Foundation. Club 100 is open to all full-time college students. Points are distributed in the following manner: Foundation conferences, training seminars, “Roots at the Ranch” seminars, and CPAC points will be awarded after the event when attendance is confirmed. Training seminars occurring at Foundation conferences do not qualify for additional points.

The Foundation must be the sole national financial sponsor and scheduler of campus speaking events to receive points. Points will be applied towards a member’s total once the speaking event contract is received at the Foundation’s headquarters. Young America’s Foundation campus lectures occurring after the scheduled 2007 Reagan Ranch retreat will still apply to an activist’s point total but a contract must be signed and on file at the Foundation’s headquarters. All points must be earned at least two weeks before the Retreat is scheduled.

Bonus points are distributed upon receipt of appropriate documentation. Points are non-transferable and all point totals expire at the completion of the current school year. The Foundation will not be held liable for any unclaimed awards or bonus offers and eligible members will not fault the Foundation for failure to attend the Reagan Ranch program when scheduled.
