
Radical Islam 101: Defining America’s Enemy and Developing a Strategy for Success

At this timely three-day seminar students will hear from leading scholars, policy makers and tacticians in the field including Columnist and Blogger

With help from these speakers students will spend three days delving into the history and current threat from radical Islam, including:
- Defining America’s Enemy
- Compare and contrast the war against radical Islam to the Cold War
- Why Iraq is critical to winning the war against radical Islam
- Defining the Conservative Movement’s message to help America win
- And more!
Attendees will also participate in the Foundation's Speaker Training Seminar, where you will receive training on how to bring these ideas to your campus by hosting a conservative speaker through Young America's Foundation’s campus lecture program.
The highlight of the weekend will be a trip to Rancho del Cielo, Ronald Reagan’s beloved ranch and home for nearly 25 years. Young America's Foundation saved Reagan’s ranch, Rancho del Cielo in 1998 and is preserving his ranch so new generations can learn more about President Reagan’s accomplishments.
The cost of this exciting weekend is only $45 and includes overnight accommodations for Thursday and Friday nights, meals, and conference materials. A select number of travel scholarships are available.

Some details to keep in mind:
- This program is designed for currently enrolled, full-time college students of typical college age (17 – 24).
- Lodging will be provided for the nights of October 18 and 19 only. Students are housed by same sex only, with 2 students per room.
- Travel arrangements are up to each student. Young America's Foundation will provide airport shuttles to and from the Santa Barbara airport only (SBA). The due date for getting to me your complete travel arrangements (plane, car, train, etc.) is Friday, October 12. Once I receive your registration form and payment, we will ask you to submit you travel arrangments.
- The Seminar begins on Thursday, October 18 at 5pm and concludes Saturday, October 20 by 2pm. Please make travel arrangements that allow for full participation in the program. A complete, detailed agenda will be available shortly.
- The cost of this event is $45. This includes your hotel accommodations, meals, Seminar tuition, and all Conference materials. You must pre-pay for the Seminar.
