SENTENCE

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the horrific attacks by Islamists that took the lives of 2,977 people at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and on United Flight 93.

For more than 18 years, Young America’s Foundation has worked with students across the country to make sure those murdered are properly remembered through the 9/11: Never Forget Project. This project is for high school and college students who want to honor those murdered on September 11, 2001.

HERE IS HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

1. Read this step-by-step guide to learn how to:

  • establish an American flag memorial on campus (flags are not provided by YAF, we ask that you first approach your school to help fund the cost of the flags)
  • how to raise funding for your flag display
  • schedule a campus-wide moment of silence or prayer on September 11, at 9:11 a.m.

2. Click on the high school or college button below to receive posters, buttons, and a yard sign from YAF.

3. Order your 2,977 flags* from American Flags 4 Less. (Flags are not provided by YAF.) Each flag will represent a person tragically murdered in the terrorist attacks.  Click here to order 3,000 no tip American Flags for $0.14/per flag. That’s a total cost of only $420.00 (plus $5.95 shipping).

*In select cases, Young America’s Foundation may be able to assist with the purchase of your flags. Please contact Patrick Coyle at 800-872-1776 or via email at pcoyle@yaf.org
